Question 1:
What are some of the earliest signs mentioned in the article to indicate that a person is addicted to gaming?
Answer:
The signs are, skipped meals and lost sleep, talked about the game all the time and began to imagine things.
State some of the methods listed by the author to overcome the addiction to gaming.
Answer:
The author ask her mother to lock her computer up, she also start talking to her friends in school about the new hot guy who had just move into her neighbourhood and her friends also constantly remind her not to game.
Question 2:
What are some of your reactions after reading this article? If a close friend of yours confesses to you that he/she is addicted to online games, what would your advice to him/her be?
Answer:
I think that game addiction is a very powerful thing. Once you get addicted to it, it is difficult to get over the addiction. I was once addicted to online games which cause my PSLE grades to turn out to be very bad. I regretted for not listening to my mother when she asked me not to play so much online games.
I will advise he/her to stop playing so much online games, as it will damaged he/her health and ruined her future. I will also tell he/her some tips to overcome the addiction.
